My name is Katherine Fuese and I have been a designer with 14 years of experience managing the design process from conceptualization to finished product. Skilled with the Adobe Creative Suite including Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Digital Media and Web Technology and have become well versed in web development skills such as HTML,CSS, and JavaScript.

CAREER GOALS
In 2021, I started my journey at UMGC with the intention of expanding my skills and eventually transitioning to a new career in web design. I’ve been a graphic designer since 2009 and over time became aware that if I wanted to be a great designer and expand my job opportunities, I needed to learn more about digital media and web design. Many graphic design positions require candidates to have extensive knowledge in not only print design but also digital design, email development, social media content creation, and web design and that is how I knew I needed to return to college.
After everything I have learned and the skills I have gained, I will move to the next steps of changing careers. I will continue to learn and gain experience to enhance my portfolio and keep going until I reach my goals.
